The Split Database

M. L. "Sco" Scofield

Have you ever heard about splitting a database? Wondered what it meant? Do you know about "front-ends" and "back-ends?" Do you know the pros and cons? Did you know that it’s absolutely critical to split your database if the data is to shared?

Learn the answers to these questions and more! Learn about the splitter wizard. Learn about re-linking tables. Learn about why to keep a table in the back-end open. Learn about keeping the front-end updated. Learn about a technique to reduce front-end bloat. Come spend an informative and entertaining evening with our resident MVP and current Vice President for this and more!

Our presenter, M. L. "Sco" Scofield is a Microsoft Access trainer and consultant in Denver, Colorado. He is an active member and Vice President of our group.
