No member of the traditional Microsoft Office suite of products has been affected more by SharePoint integration capabilities than Access 2007. Developers have a whole new set of tools at their disposal to share, collect, or store Access data on corporate SharePoint web sites. New SharePoint integration abilities make an entirely new type of solution possible where Access 2007 serves as a desktop client for information and workflows stored on a SharePoint server. These Access/SharePoint solutions will be easy to build, offer a wide range of desktop and browser functionality and provide powerful off-line capabilities. The presentation will include:
♦ An Overview of Access 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 (WSS 3.0) Integration capabilities
♦ An Access 2007 / WSS 3.0 Application Demo
♦ A Summary of Lessons Learned while building Access/SharePoint Applications
